Figure 1 IS-IV of patients under radical or palliative treatment.
All 81 patients had suffered from stage IV pancreatic cancer and died before October of 2011. There were 51 patients in the radical treatment group, and 30 patients in the palliative treatment group. The median follow-up period was 8 mo. The IS-IV of patients was accumulated from the early diagnosis of stage IV pancreatic cancer in our own or other hospitals.
