Figure 1 Disappearance of gastric varices following steroid therapy. A: Computed tomography showed a diffusely enlarged pancreas with a capsule-like rim, obstructed splenic vein (arrowhead), and dilated common bile duct; B: Esophagogastoroduodenoscopy showed gastric varices in the fundus of the stomach; C: The splenic vein was reperfused (arrowhead), and autoimmune pancreatitis improved following steroid therapy; D: Gastric varices disappeared following steroid therapy.
