Cell proliferation (brown cells) was obvious. The number of stained (brown) cells in the severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) + mesenchymal stem cells group (B, D, F) were significantly higher than the SAP group. Cell numbers gradually increased with time (original magnification × 400).
