Figure 3 Morphological changes of HepG2 cells after exposure to tectorigenin. HepG2 cells were treated with vehicle (A) and tectorigenin at 5 (B), 10 (C), 20 (D) mg/L for 48 h, the cells were then fixed and stained with Hoechst 33258 and observed under a fluorescent microscope (Leica DM IRB) (Magnification × 400). Tectorigenin significantly induced condensed chromatin and fragmented nuclei. The arrows in B-D indicate cells undergoing apoptosis.
