Figure 1 Activation of β-catenin in colonic epithelial cells by purified Chitinase 3-like-1 (CHI3L1).
SW480 human colon cancer cells were cultured without (A) or with purified human CHI3L1 protein (50 ng/mL) for 24 h (B), and cells were stained with mouse anti-human β-catenin monoclonal antibody followed by FITC-horse anti-mouse IgG staining. Purified CHI3L1 significantly stimulates the nucleic translocation of β-catenin in SW480 cells. Original magnification, objective 40 ×.
