The U lane represents the amplification of unmethylated alleles, while the M lane represents that of methylated alleles. CHFR methylation was present in cases 1, 2, 3 and 6. CpGenome Universal Methylated DNA, which is enzymatically methylated human male genomic DNA, was used as a positive control (PC), and purified genomic DNA isolated from human placenta was used as a negative control (NC) as non-methylated DNA.
