Mice were pretreated with atropine (1 mg/kg), L-NAME (50 mg/kg) or D-Lys3-GHRP-6 (5 &mgr;mol/kg) before administration of ghrelin (100 &mgr;g/kg) or GHRP-6 (100 &mgr;g/kg), and the effects were compared with those of treatment with ghrelin or GHRP-6 (100 &mgr;g/kg) alone. Bar graph and error bars represent the means ± SE of at least six animals. aP < 0.05 vs treatment with ghrelin or GHRP-6 (100 &mgr;g/kg) alone.
