Gene modulation associated with inhibition of liver regeneration in hepatitis B virus X transgenic mice

Figure 2 Expression levels of PPARα transcripts in the liver of two HBx-expressing (HBx-LacZ) and two control (LacZ) transgenic mice, before (T0) and 48 h after (T48) partial hepatectomy. The level of transcript expression was analyzed by quantitative RT-PCR and expressed as relative ratios after normalization with β actin values. The means of the relative ratio values and standard error were obtained from at least two independent experiments performed in duplicate.
