Filter grown Caco-2 cells with or without treatment with a combination of lovastatin/MβCD were extracted on ice with 2% Triton X-100. After flotation in an OptiPrep step-gradient, fractions were collected and Western blots performed. Cholesterol depletion shifted CEA from the top (raft fractions) to the bottom fractions (non raft fractions).
