Liver sections were immunostained with both monoclonal anti-p75 antibody and monoclonal anti-α-SMA antibodies. Although most perisinusoidal HSCs were quiescent form (arrow heads) in NAFL, a number of arrow head were detected in the patient with NASH (arrow heads).
