VEGF/PLT: the calculated parameter by dividing the serum VEGF values (pg/mL) by the platelet counts (×106/mL); Cholangitis: patients with acute cholangitis or cholecystitis; Cancer: patients with biliary neoplasms; PBC/PSC: patients with primary biliary cirrhosis or primary sclerosing cholangitis; normal: healthy volunteers.
