Figure 1 Photos of distal colons from normal (A), control (B), DX (C), and CTG at dose of 2. 9, 5.7, and 11.4 g crude drug/kg (D-F) groups. At model control PIC, histological inflammatory features including mucosal hemorrhage, submucosal edema and inflammatory infiltration in the lamina propria and submucosa were observed. At CTG PIC, there was no remarkable inflammatory feature. At DX PIC, ulcer was recovered, but inflammatory feature was still remarkable.
